The University of Cincinnati (UC) International Office is accepting applications for the 2027 International Visiting Scholar Grant, an opportunity for faculty from strategic partner institutions to collaborate with UC colleagues, develop joint research projects, and strengthen institutional partnerships.

The grant supports projects including:

• Collaborative joint research that includes undergraduate and/or graduate research opportunities emerging from the faculty visit
• Development of joint classes
• Establishing collaborative curricula/programs

 

The visit must take place between January 1 and December 31, 2027, on mutually agreed-upon dates. Applicants must identify a UC faculty member and department willing to host the visit and collaborate on the proposed project.

Application Deadline: October 16, 2026

The application must include:

• Visit proposal
• Abbreviated CV
• Signed letter of support from the UC host faculty member
• Signed letter of support from the applicant’s supervisor
