The STEP USA University Program offers German university startups and spin-offs the opportunity to explore the U.S. market during a three-day program in New York City from November 16–18, 2026. Organized by DWIH NY and GACC NY, the program provides workshops and networking opportunities focused on U.S. market entry, business culture, legal requirements, pitching, sales strategies, and investor engagement, as well as visits to incubators and meetings with mentors and investors.

The call is open to startups and spin-offs affiliated with German universities or research institutions from all disciplines. Applicants should demonstrate that their business model is suitable for internationalization. Program fees are covered by DWIH NY. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. To apply, please submit a short pitch deck in English (maximum five pages) including an overview of your startup and innovation, your business model and internationalization plans, your current development status, and your motivation for participating.
