A new study by the Erich Brost Institute for International Journalism at TU Dortmund University takes a close look at media accountability in nine countries of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Based on interviews with 100 journalists, a research team headed by Susanne Fengler and Isabella Kurkowski investigate media accountability instruments in Algeria, Egypt, Irag, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Syria, and Tunisia.
