PATHWAYS TO GERMANY: STUDY AND APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES

UA Ruhr participated in the 2025 edition of Pathways to Germany, a three-part online information session series highlighting study and apprenticeship opportunities for U.S. students, organized by the Deutsches Forum.

Session 1 – Studying in Germany: What You Need to Know

On September 25, 2025, U.S. students learned about the qualifications they need (High School Diploma, IB, AP) to apply to German universities. Furthermore, they got a glimpse into student life with affordable costs and globally recognized degrees.

Session 2 – Connect with Leading German Universities

On September 29, 2025, students from the United States met representatives from top universities, universities of applied sciences, and Studienkollegs. Additionally, they had the opportunity to explore academic programs and participate in live breakout rooms for direct conversations.

Session 3 – Apprenticeship in Germany: Earn While You Learn

Discover Germany’s dual study programs, apprenticeships, and internships that let you earn while you learn. Hear directly from universities and employers about in-demand skills and how to apply as an international student.
