Make Germany a Part of It! - Career Goals Without Losing Your Mind: The Importance of Mental Health -- Personal and Professional Perspectives.

On September 2, 2025, UA Ruhr, the Berlin University Alliance, and the German Center for Research and Innovation New York (DWIH NY) held the Make Germany a Part of It! info session at the Goethe-Institut New York. The evening brought together early-career researchers for a panel discussion with experts in health and care, who shared both professional insights and personal reflections on sustaining mental well-being in demanding research environments. Following the discussion, structured info sessions featured short presentations from universities and funding organizations, highlighting opportunities such as DAAD grants, academic entrepreneurship, and industry connections. The event concluded with networking, giving participants a chance to explore research opportunities in Germany while exchanging experiences with peers and professionals.
