This conference is a large German science and research career fair. Early career researchers and representatives from all areas of the German research landscape come together for three days of exchange, learning and networking. Parts of the conference program were also offered in English.

UA Ruhr North America was represented at the GAIN Talent Fair along with representatives from TU Dortmund University and RUB's Research School.

The German Academic International Network (GAIN) invited all postdocs and early career researchers to join us and over 60 institutions of the German science and research landscape at the Annual Conference and Talent Fair’s Saturday afternoon English Program on August 26th, 2023 in Boston. Learning about open positions, junior research group leader opportunities, paths to professorship, and other careers for researchers in Germany. Many networking opportunities with leaders from universities, research and funding organizations, German business, and politics.
