Together with other German university alliances, universities, research institutions and funding agencies, UA Ruhr will present its research and funding opportunities as well as job offers at the 2021 German Academic International Network (GAIN) Conference, the largest German science and research career fair in the U.S.

The conference program is offered in either German or English. A variety of workshops and the talent fair make the event a rare opportunity to meet a large number of experts, politicians and German university leadership. Participants can meet with more than 60 German universities, research institutions, and funding agencies. In one-on-one meetings young scholars can find out about their programs and job openings. The initiative Research in Germany offers a special workshop on opportunities in Germany for international scientists interested in transatlantic careers and partnerships.
