Together with other German university alliances, universities, research institutions and funding agencies, UA Ruhr will present its programs and job offers at the 2020 Virtual German Academic International Network (GAIN) Conference, the largest German science and research career fair in the U.S. On Friday, August 28, we will discuss career opportunities in startups and academia in a workhop with colleagues from TU Dortmund University's Center for Entrepreneurship and Transfer, Lehigh University's Baker Institute, Paderborn University, the OWL Liaison Office in New York, and the FDP Parliamentary Group on Innovation, Education and Research. In a workshop on Saturday, August 29, we will introduce support and services for early career researchers with colleagues from the University of Stuttgart and Ruhr University Bochum's RUB Research School.
