UA Ruhr North America invite students, researchers, and early-stage startups from Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund University, and the University of Duisburg-Essen to apply for the UA Ruhr Pitch Contest 2026.   The winning team will receive one seat in the STEP USA University Program 2026 in New York City, organized by DWIH New York and the German-American Chambers of Commerce (GACC NY). STEP USA is a three-day program designed for university startups and spin-offs interested in exploring and scaling into the US market. Applicants are invited to submit a 3–5 minute video pitch presenting their startup, business idea, or innovation concept. Applications open on June 8, 2026. The contest is open to all disciplines.
